Your exact location never leaves your device. The facility list downloads to your browser, and the distances are worked out there.
Your location
When you tap "Use my location," your browser asks for permission. If you allow it, the page uses your coordinates to sort facilities by distance on your device. We do not send your location to a server, save it or share it.
If you search a zip code or city, that search is added to the page address so you can bookmark or share it. It is not stored by us.
Links to other sites
Directions open in Google Maps, and facility websites and reviews open on those sites. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave.
Fonts
This site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of serving the files.
Map
The map behind the search radius is made of image tiles from Esri. To send the right tiles, Esri receives your IP address and the area the map shows, a square a few miles wide around your search. It does not receive your exact coordinates.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people use. It sets cookies and receives your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and the site that sent you. Page addresses include any zip code or city you search, so Google Analytics sees those searches. It never receives your location from "Use my location." You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies for this site.
If you email us, we see your address and your message and use them to reply. Questions about this page go to contact@storageunitsnearmewithin5mi.com.
